General / OBC

Primary (Class 1 to 5)

• Senior Secondary or equivalent with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed / B.T.C.); OR
• Senior Secondary or equivalent with at least 45% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed / B.T.C.) as per NCTE Regulations, 2002; OR
• Senior Secondary or equivalent with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 4-year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed); OR
• Senior Secondary or equivalent with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 2-year Diploma in Education (Special Education) recognized by RCI; OR
• Graduation or equivalent and passed or appearing in final year of 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed / B.T.C.).

Note: 5% relaxation in qualifying marks is applicable for reserved category candidates including SC, ST, OBC and Disabled candidates.

Junior (Class 6 to 8)

• Graduation or equivalent and passed or appearing in final year of 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (B.T.C. / D.El.Ed.); OR
• Graduation or equivalent with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of Bachelor in Education (B.Ed. / L.T. / Shiksha Shastri); OR
• Graduation or equivalent with at least 45% marks and passed or appearing in final year of Bachelor in Education (B.Ed. / L.T.) as per NCTE regulations; OR
• Senior Secondary or equivalent with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 4-year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed.); OR
• Senior Secondary or equivalent with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 4-year B.A./B.Sc.Ed. or B.A.Ed./B.Sc.Ed.; OR
• Graduation or equivalent with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of B.Ed. (Special Education); OR
• Graduation or Post-Graduation with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in B.Ed. The minimum percentage in Graduation is not applicable for candidates admitted before 29 July 2011.
