Eligibility Criteria
Basic Eligibility
- Beneficiary family must be a resident of Uttar Pradesh
- Valid residence proof is required
- Annual family income must not exceed Rs. 3 lakh
- Normally, a maximum of two girls from one family can get the benefit
- Family should have a maximum of two children
Special Conditions
- If a woman gives birth to twin girls in the second delivery, the third girl child may also be eligible as per the official rule
- If a family has legally adopted an orphan girl, benefit can be allowed within the maximum limit mentioned in the official rules
