Eligibility Details

CTET Primary Level (Class 1 to 5)

  • Senior Secondary (or equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed/appearing in final year of 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education.
  • Senior Secondary (or equivalent) with at least 45% marks and passed/appearing in final year of 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education as per NCTE 2002 norms.
  • Senior Secondary (or equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed/appearing in final year of 4-year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed).
  • Senior Secondary (or equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed/appearing in final year of 2-year Diploma in Education (Special Education).
  • Graduation with at least 50% marks and passed/appearing in final year of B.Ed.
  • Post-Graduation with minimum 55% marks or equivalent grade and passed/appearing in final year of 3-year integrated B.Ed.-M.Ed.

CTET Junior Level (Class 6 to 8)

  • Graduation and passed/appearing in final year of 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education.
  • At least 50% marks in Graduation or Post-Graduation and passed/appearing in final year of B.Ed.
  • Graduation with at least 45% marks and passed/appearing in 1-year B.Ed. as per NCTE norms.
  • Senior Secondary (or equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed/appearing in final year of 4-year B.El.Ed.
  • Senior Secondary (or equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed/appearing in final year of 4-year B.A/B.Sc.Ed or B.A.Ed/B.Sc.Ed.
  • Graduation with at least 50% marks and passed/appearing in 1-year B.Ed. (including Special Education).
  • Candidates with NCTE-recognized B.Ed. qualification are eligible for TET/CTET.
  • Post-Graduation with minimum 55% marks or equivalent grade and passed/appearing in final year of 3-year integrated B.Ed.-M.Ed.
