Eligibility Details
CTET Primary Level (Class 1 to 5)
- Senior Secondary (or equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education.
- Senior Secondary (or equivalent) with at least 45% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education as per NCTE 2002 norms.
- Senior Secondary (or equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 4-year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed).
- Senior Secondary (or equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 2-year Diploma in Education (Special Education).
- Graduation with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of B.Ed. Candidates with B.Ed. from an NCTE-recognized institution are considered for appointment in Classes I to V, subject to the bridge course condition mentioned in the notification.
- Post-Graduation with at least 55% marks or equivalent grade and passed or appearing in final year of 3-year integrated B.Ed.-M.Ed.
CTET Junior Level (Class 6 to 8)
- Graduation and passed or appearing in final year of 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education.
- At least 50% marks in Graduation or Post-Graduation and passed or appearing in final year of B.Ed.
- Graduation with at least 45% marks and passed or appearing in 1-year B.Ed. in accordance with NCTE norms.
- Senior Secondary (or equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 4-year B.El.Ed.
- Senior Secondary (or equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 4-year B.A./B.Sc.Ed. or B.A.Ed./B.Sc.Ed.
- Graduation with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in 1-year B.Ed. / B.Ed. Special Education.
- Candidates who have qualified a B.Ed. programme recognized by NCTE are eligible to appear in TET/CTET. Candidates pursuing recognized teacher education courses specified in the cited NCTE notification are also eligible to appear.
