JOB DUTIES: The Associate Engineer role is responsible for working closely with other engineers in delivering technical aspects to meet the division’s product line’s requirements.
Key areas of responsibility encountered in this role may include any or all of the following:
- Support in the development of electrical design of Diesel gensets in collaboration with senior engineers.
- Develop concepts, and modelling of electrical subsystems of Gensets. Works closely with internal teams to ensure the detailing, releases and other development aspects are taken care
- Understand technical requirements and creatively solves engineering problems
- Incumbent will have opportunities to work closely with cross functional team to develop world class engineering solutions for our global products while gaining growth opportunities.
Eligibility Criteria
Required Qualification
- Provide support in the design and development of electrical systems related to Genset control panel design, Component selection and placement, Wiring harness, Schematics development
- Must be a team player with good communication and interpersonal skills
- High learning agility.
- Hands on experience with various tools and processes like: CREO, Team centre, Drawing release process, DFMEA, RCA (Nice to have)
- Experience of Diesel / Gas genset or similar automobile/machine products design, development, testing and certifications (Nice to have)
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Electrical Engineering with 0-2 years of relevant experience.
